I don't want illegal immigrants coming here, but I don't want to hear of such pointless deaths, such a waste of lives to feed a political agenda.

It seems they all tried to get into a very large kayak and it was so cold someone lit a fire which caused it to sink

The solution is to withdraw our military to defend our shores, start with the choppers/SF (which the French do not possess) in Mali supporting a French post colonial war

The solution is to identify the NGOs trafficking people into and around europe, declare them international terrorist organisations, along with Soros and his mates. Sanction them, confiscate any property they own in the UK and freeze their bank accounts. Withdraw from the UN migrant pact and issue proceedings in court against these actors.

The French do not possess heavy chopper assets
We do
We have deployment supporting the French in their Malian campaign, with SF alongside securing LZ's
The French could not operate, Macron could not claim his 'success' there, without that mobility
Not unreasonable that I suggest that helicopter mobility may be better served in the Channel, be that with 'fighting aged males' upon inflatables or French fisherman that want to get bouncy
Interesting that I read recently that the French themselves poo poo'd the idea of an EU military if we were outside of it, all very good for Belgians and the like to promote, but the muscle lay this side of the Channel
Oh and we have sent more troops to Poland and the Baltic's given the Belarus situation
I know how I would focus attention

Never understood why the authorities in the UK and France have been letting the crossings occur? It’s been a disaster waiting to happen.

How can these people get across Europe, wait in camps on the French coast for a crossing opportunity, its almost as if they want them to do it, years ago illegal immigrants would be rounded up and sent home, these days they do what ever they want, also seeing some of the footage, a good portion are young men with iPhones and earrings in skinny jeans, hardly refugee material?

RIP to all those who died so needlessly
